I have always had a passion for making order out of chaos. I feel most at peace when items (or projects) are where they are supposed to be, and when that place makes sense in the big picture. So, developing a small business that makes the best use of that passion just makes sense.

I am a detail-oriented person who comes with over a decade of event planning, operations management, and project planning. I have worked in different industries including higher education and finance. Those skills translate to any small business.

First, I review your current systems, and meet with your team to learn who is in charge of which processes, and how those pieces fit into the whole puzzle. How do you keep track of your projects? How do you monitor inventory? Where are you pain points?

Then I evaluate the effectiveness of your current systems. I suggest software/online resources which may improve your systems. I look at your promotional materials and make suggestions for improvement.

Finally, if you want, I can take over some parts of your systems. With my permanent clients, I am in charge of a wide array of tasks from inventory management to automations to social media schedules. I will do whatever it takes to keep your business running, and ensure you have time to build it even more.

The Process

Hiring a consultant is the way to go for a small business. I charge hourly rates or per month rates and you don’t have the overhead of part- or full-time employees.

All levels of service will require a “Discovery Call” where I will learn more about your needs. During this preliminary call, we’ll determine together what level of service makes sense for your business.

If you choose a weekly or monthly package, I will evaluate your current systems and suggest other products or upgrades. I will monitor any changes and fix trouble spots. I will also assist in promoting your business on social media.  A monthly package usually is 10-25 hours per month, and can be flexible about how many hours are needed per week.

Perhaps you have an ongoing project or event which needs to be organized and monitored. A one-time only package is available. When your project or event is over, support will end as well.

  • This is ideal for single project set-up. There is no limit to the amount of hours per month. Project based contract required.

  • This is ideal for those who need consistent support. There is a limit of 15 hours per month. A 6 month contract is required.

  • This is ideal for those who need consistent support. There is a limit of 25 hours per month. A 12 month contract is required.
